Lights You can See in the Daylight
Like many of you, Renaissance Bicycles realizes that being visible on the road is a key element in cycling safety. To make sure that you are highly visible, headlights and taillights are a very effective tool … and annoyingly bright flashy lights are even better.
Dynamo Powered Headlamps
If you are serious about riding when the sun goes down, sooner or later you’ll realize that dynamo lighting is really the way to go. And while these lighting systems are not cheap, they are worth superior light output and longevity.
Busch & Müller: Lumotec IQ Cyo R N Plus
Here’s the breakdown for this dynamo powered headlight:
- LED bulb for use with 6V dynamo.
- Can be used with or without a taillight.
- The “R” designation means the light produces a longer, taller beam than a regular headlight.
- The “N” means it the light is switchable … as in you can turn it on or off manually.
- The “Plus” designation indicates a standlight … a secondary light that remains On after the dynamo has stopped spinning.
