A renaissanced bicycle is something a little different.  It is a combination of something old and something new; it is taking the handmade craftsmanship of yore and melding it with the technical advances of the present day.

The custom car world refers to this as a restomod (or a resto-mod if you will).  We take retired bike frames and breathe new life into their lugged steel souls.  This is done with a blend of experience, technical know-how, and artistry.  Basically, we are in the restomod bicycle business.

The renaissance bicycles that we create are sometimes of our own design, but are often customer driven.  In other words, if you feel a twinge of guilt every time you pass by that retired steel frame hanging in the garage, but you just can’t seem to make the time to do that “upgrade” you’ve dreamed-up, then Renaissance Bicycles is the right place for you.

We also help others renaissance their rides.  After all, there is a lot of satisfaction (and pertinent knowledge) in doing your own upgrades and customizations.  That is what has prompted us to offer many of the specialty items that we deal with everyday.
