Designed with loaded touring in mind, the new Soma Saga is more versatile than a pocket multi-tool.  Constructed of TIG welded Tange Prestige tubing, the Saga can be setup with a wide variety of accouterments.  Just to give you an idea of some of the thoughtful touches:

• Navy (with a hint of purple) powdercoat for scratch resistance
• Extra thick headtube for whatever bumps comes its way
• Mounting for either caliper or cantilever style brakes (or run both at the same time if you dare)
• Fender and rack eyelets both front and rear
• Kickstand plate with fender mount
• Spare spoke(s) holder on chainstay
• 3 water bottle cage mounts
• 54cm and smaller frames use 26″ wheels. 56cm + frames are designed for 700c wheels.

In other words, this bike is built plenty tough and plenty versatile … it can bring you across the country, or it can bring you home a week’s worth of groceries.  The Saga’s purpose is up to you.
