Velo Orange Polyvalent
Classic. Steel. Multi-purpose. What more do you need?
The Polyvalent is a throwback to the all-rounder of yester-year. It is built around 650B wheels, can be outfitted with racks and fenders, and has plenty of clearance for cushy tires. Basically, this is a frameset with a ton of versatility … think a classic sleek Mr. Potato Head-like do-all-rounder-multi-purpose-kitchen-sink.
The frameset is a matte black powercoat available in four sizes (see the geometry chart). It’s TIG welded with cantilever brake bosses and fender mounts in all of the right places. The frame can take up to 55mm tires (or 44mm with fenders), although it is most sporty with 650B x 38mm tires. And as you probably guessed, it can be setup with either sweptback or drop style handlebars. And best of all, it’s reasonably priced at $400 — including a Gran Cru 1″ threaded headset.

Detailed build list and pricing of the City Bike Edition is Coming Soon →
The City Bike is nimble, simple, and ready for city streets, back road cruising, and gravel paths. It is built around retro-styled 650B Velocity Synergy wheels, a Shimano 1×9 drivetrain controlled by a Silver friction shifter, and Elysees swept back bars. Plus there are plenty of shiny bits from our friends at Velo Orange; VO Zepplin fenders, VO Touring Pedals, VO seatpost … you get the idea.
And of course you can add racks, lights, and any other accessories as needed. This is just our interpretation of a modern + classy city bike, but we are happy to custom tailor it to your liking.
Looking for something a little different for your next bike? How about a 650B fixed gear gravel road racer?

Detailed build list and pricing of the Scorcher →
The Scorcher build is meant to be unique. Basically, it is a fixed / free setup that takes advantage of the 650B wheel size. This is a perfect bike for exploring the back roads in simplicity. Add a rack and fenders, and this bike transforms to a durable single speed commuter bike. No worries about potholes or curbs … the cushy Fatty Rumpkin tires soak up the bumps.
Better yet, you can have the Scorcher your way. Want swept back bars or an Internal Gear drivetrain? No problem. Want fenders and a front basket? You got it. In other words, take our build as a starting point and then customize it to meet your needs. After all, that is what makes our little business so unique.

Cool bike! What kind of Velocity rims did you use?
The rims are Synergy 650Bs on Velocity high flange track hubs. Good stuff … and it doesn’t cost an arm and two legs.
Wow, I’ve been thinking of putting together the exact same thing as a winter town bike.
An even more interesting take would be 650B with the sturmey 3 speed fixed hubs.
just what I am looking for. is the complete bike price below $1300?
Close … the bike sells for $1500.
