While the bike is not perfect, nor is it all original, it definitely could make a great recreational rider or base for a full restoration.  It also hints why these bikes remain so popular … a smooth ride, sensible geometry, and simple style.

When we received the bike, it had sat unridden for a very long time.  With a little TLC (and a few replacement parts), we were able to make it back into a respectable bike once again.  There are the usual scratches along the chainstays, a few spots of surface rust along the toptube guides and around the bottom bracket shell, and an unfortunate clamp mark on the backside of the seattube.  Those points aside, the bike is in decent original condition and has survived the last 25 years pretty well.
